Faced such a problem. I reboot the modem. Everything is going great. The Internet icon on the PC and Wi-Fi lights up, and after a minute the Wi-Fi goes out and it simply does not exist, although it is on the PC. Phones connect to Wi-Fi for the first minute, but after that it just disappears. A strange phenomenon.
As it seems to me, there is a problem with the router, but the router was taken a week ago. Because of this, such doubts arose.
Router model: ZyXEL
Answer
You very poorly and incomprehensibly described the problem itself. I have a few questions. Give an answer in the comments.
- You wrote that "the Internet icon on the PC and Wi-Fi will light up." How is the computer connected to the router, by cable?
- You also wrote that Wi-Fi goes out, but it is on the PC. What is it like?
- After Wi-Fi disappears on phones, does any device see it?
- Did you buy a router a week ago? Did it work right away?
It seems to me that the problem may be that you just turned off the Wi-Fi network with a button on the router. Look at the article: the router does not distribute the Internet over Wi-Fi. There I wrote about this problem. It is a pity that you did not write which specific model, you just indicated the manufacturer ZyXEL.
You can also try to do a full reset of the ZyXEL router, and configure it again. If turning on the Wi-Fi network with the switch on the router does not help.
