Hello. I have such a problem - after turning on the laptop (Asus K50IJ Windows 10), the Wi-Fi constantly "disappears" (adapter - Atheros AR9285 Wireless). Hanging icon - no internet access. That's what I'm doing:
- go to adapter settings
- I go to - IP version 4 (TCP / IPv4)
- I prescribe the "left" IP address and subnet mask, apply everything and go back
- unplug the adapter
- I go to the properties and in the IP version 4 (TCP / IPv4) tab I select "get ip automatically"
- I save everything and turn on the wifi.
And only after all these manipulations, the Wi-Fi works without problems until the first shutdown or reboot. By the way - when the laptop exits "sleep", the same problem ((
What can be done???
Answer
Hello. First of all, I would advise you to test the work with a different Wi-Fi network. I wonder what the result would be.
Then follow the tips, which I wrote about in the article: "Connection is limited" in Windows 10 via Wi-Fi and a network cable. Namely, "Enable Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) Compliance Mode for this network."
Prohibit turning off the Wi-Fi adapter to save energy according to this instruction: https://help-wifi.com/reshenie-problem-i-oshibok/propadaet-internet-wi-fi-v-windows-10-posle-vyxoda-iz -spyashhego-rezhima /
If it doesn't help, you need to experiment with the driver. I wrote about this here.
