Constantly writes "checking network requirements", and nothing happens, it does not connect to the network. I waited 10 minutes, the same inscription. This is my home network called "HOME". The day before, I was with a friend's laptop, he has the same network name. Connected fine, just changed the password. Now at home, it does not connect. There is no option to change the password either. Just "checking network requirements" and that's it. Linksys router, Tp-link friend's router.

Answer

It's bad when two Wi-Fi networks have the same name. I think that in your case, you just need to delete (forget) the Wi-Fi network on the laptop and reconnect to it. By specifying the password for your home Wi-Fi network.

It's a shame you didn't write what Windows is on your laptop. Therefore, I give a link to the instructions by which you can remove the Wi-Fi network on Windows 7, and a separate article on the example of Windows 10.

I think that after this procedure, the "checking network requirements" error will disappear, and you can connect your laptop to Wi-Fi.
