Internet disappears on all devices via TP-Link. After WAN setup

I bought TP-Link, set it up, worked fine for about an hour, then disappeared (on all devices). Changed in the settings from static to dynamic IP - it worked, then disappeared again after 2 hours (exclamation mark, without access to the Internet), again changed something in the settings (I don't remember anymore, like an ip, gateway, etc.) and it worked, well and disappeared again. (!) What could be the problem? There is no congestion, Windows 7, did not check the drivers (MB in them?).

Answer

The problem is not with the driver. Since the Internet disappears on all devices.

Something is already wrong here. And this is most likely the problem.

The fact is that in the settings of the router, in the WAN section (where you most likely change the static to dynamic IP), you need to specify the type of connection that your provider uses. There is a certain type of connection (Dynamic IP, PPPoE, L2TP, PPTP). There cannot be "this" or "that".

Check the type of connection and all the necessary parameters for connecting to the Internet with your provider. And set them in the router settings. Before doing this, I advise you to reset the TP-Link settings to remove all those settings that you have already set. Also check if there is a MAC address binding. But if the Internet worked a little, then most likely not.

You can read the article when setting up a router, writes "Without access to the Internet."

Watch the video: Assign static IP address via DHCP on the TP-Link (May 2024).
