Hello. Can you please tell me, I made the distribution of WI-FI from the command line on Windows 7, everything works fine, but is it possible to control and view the number of people connected to your network, and accordingly disable them. Thanks in advance.

Answer

Hello. I understood you. You can view the number of clients connected via Wi-Fi to your access point on Windows 7. There is a special command:

netsh wlan show hostednetwork

It displays the number of maximum clients, status, type of radio module, Wi-Fi channel, and the number of connected clients at the moment.

But as far as I know, you cannot block Wi-Fi clients. Even programs that can launch Wi-Fi distribution in Windows 7 lack such a function. This means that there is no such possibility at the system level. And why is it. The network is also password protected there.
