Connecting the ZyXEL P660RU3 EE modem to a computer via USB and a D-Link router

Hello. I will describe the problem in detail.

Available ADSL modem zyxel p660ru3 ee. Through which the Internet comes from a telephone cable to
router D-Link DIR-300 NRU B5. With which it was possible to distribute the Internet from a modem via wi-fi.

Initially, everything worked like this: a telephone cable to the modem, from the modem there was a cable from the ethernet connector to the router to the internet connector, the next cable from the LAN1 connector on the router was connected to a stationary computer.

The Internet was on the computer, and was also distributed from the router via wi-fi to other devices in the house.

The problem arose when the ethernet port on the modem failed. I had to use the USB port on the modem and use it to connect the Internet to the computer.

But now it is not clear how to distribute the Internet to other devices, since USB goes directly from the zyxel modem to a stationary computer, and the D-Link router turns out to have nothing to connect with, and therefore Internet distribution is not possible?

Can you please tell me if the distribution of the Internet is possible in such a situation?

Answer

Hello. I figured out your problem. Theoretically it is possible. And how is the ZyXEL P660RU3 EE modem connected via USB to a computer detected in the system? I just have no experience with this modem. Attach a screenshot below in the comments from: "Control Panel Network and Internet Network Connections". Where all adapters are displayed.
