Creating and configuring a single WiFi network

Good afternoon. Please help with this question. There are several WiFi routers (TP-Link and Mikrotik). Is it possible to configure a single WiFi network on them, something like repeaters, but so that they connect to each other not via WiFi, but via the network? Or at least they took the Internet over a wire, and not from a connected WiFi point? Ideally, it is also planned to access the local network through them. You will help me a lot if at least tell me in which direction to move. Thank.

Answer

Good afternoon. You can customize, there is a scheme. But I cannot guarantee that everything will work. As far as I understand, you want to connect the routers with a network cable. Right?

The main router must be configured to connect to the Internet in order for the Internet to work through it. Also on the main router you need to set the Wi-Fi network name and password.

We take the second router, reset the settings to the factory settings on it, go to its control panel, set the Wi-FI network name and password the same as on the main router, and disable the DHCP server on it. Then, we connect the cable from the LAN port of the main router to the LAN port of the second one. The second router is obtained as an access point with the same WI-FI settings. You should get a single Wi-Fi network.

On the third router, we also set identical Wi-Fi settings, turn off the DHCP server, and connect to the second one according to the LAN-LAN scheme.

Need to try. In the comments, you can write about the results, or ask additional questions. How to do all this in detail on Mikrotik routers, I cannot tell. I am not familiar with these devices yet.
