Why is 2.4 GHz WiFi speed twice as fast as 5 GHz?

Acer Nitro 5 an515-54-58tj laptop, accepts built-in Intel WiFi 6 ax200 1600 Mhz, Smart Box GIGA router from Beeline, speed at a rate of 100 Mb / s. The router distributes both in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.

INTERNET SPEED on 5 GHz band

Downlink: 37.46 Mbps = 4.68 Mbps
Outgoing connection: 92.52 Mbps = 11.57 MB / s

INTERNET SPEED on 2.4 GHz band

Downlink: 87.76 Mbps = 10.97 Mbps
Outgoing connection: 91.59 Mbps = 11.45 MBytes / s

All tests were carried out a meter away from the router. Checked on Yandex.Internetometer and Speedtest.
At the same time, on the 5 GHz band, there are only 2 signals from neighbors, and my channel is completely clear. The 2.4 GHz band besides me still has about 15-20 signals.

I would advise you to measure the speed on another device first. Preferably on a phone or tablet. Into the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. I think a lot would have cleared up. Ideally, of course, connect your laptop to another Wi-Fi network in the 5 GHz range and take measurements too. But I understand that this is most likely impossible.

You have good speed in the 2.4 GHz band, almost maximum. In the 5 GHz band, the speed should hardly be much higher (since it is 100 Mbps from the provider), but in any case, it should not be lower than in the 2.4 GHz band.

This could be due to the operating mode and the bandwidth at which the Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 adapter is connected to your router. I don't want you to immediately change the wireless settings on the router, so let's first see the properties of the 5 GHz Wi-Fi network on your laptop. We are interested in what protocol is indicated there, 802.11n, or 802.11ac.
