Netis router resets the ISP's IP address and does not detect it until reboot

Netis WF2880 model, manufacturer's firmware latest version, Windows 10 February 2019, Beeline provider.

For a week, the Internet connection has been reset, the dynamic ip address is not defined, it may not be determined for half a day, when you reboot and a possible connection, immediately after the ip digits appear, reset again.

The SYS light blinks at the router, changed the outlet, did not reset it to the factory ones, did not try another router. My assumptions that I could:

  1. cover the chip in the router
  2. The provider (whose community is replete with anger of customers in recent days about the loss of the Internet) disconnects the connection itself, possibly testing the technique of the sovereign Internet.

Disconnects can stop for 3 or even 7 hours, but the question is why the router needs to be helped to reconnect to the network, since even if it is available, it will not be able to do it and whether the provider can give a signal (sounds ridiculous but still) rudely disconnect from the network with the above defects? Only a PC is connected by cable, WiFi only 2.4 hertz works (5 Hz turned off).

Answer

I can't be 100% sure, but I think that in this case the problem is not with the router.

Beeline usually uses the L2TP connection type. There, the settings must contain the username, password and server address. Connection type: Dynamic The only thing to check is that the switch is set next to "Connect automatically".

If the router sometimes connects to the ISP and receives an IP address, then everything is configured correctly.

I think these are some kind of problems on the side of the equipment of the Beeline provider. Have you communicated with their support on this issue?

The SYS LED should be blinking.

Connecting devices to the router in this case does not matter, since the connection to the provider is terminated on the router.

You have a PC. You can connect the Internet directly to it, set up a connection to an ISP, and check how the Internet connection will work.
