Good afternoon. The problem is with my TP-Link TL-WR740N router.

It worked well, one fine moment it was covered, the indicators all work as it was. There are no problems with the Internet cable, I called our provider to technical support, they checked, they said the Internet works, you have the money, the problem is in the router.

They said to reboot, hold down the 10-15 restart button, I thought it would help, but no, it’s MY phone that doesn’t look for Wi-Fi, the iPhone phone.

I read the topic "how to set up a router without a PC" (because I don't have a computer). But unfortunately, the address bar 192.168.1.1, or 192.168.0.1 does not enter.

I don’t understand what could be the reason, it worked and bam. So I think you need to completely reset all settings and completely re-configure?

Good afternoon. The problem seems to be standard, now let's try to figure it out. I think the TP-Link TL-WR740N just froze and would need to be rebooted. Or there were some temporary problems with Internet access from the provider. It's bad that there is no PC / laptop to connect to the Internet directly and make sure that there is Internet from the provider.

You did not perform a reboot, but a factory reset of the TL-WR740N. Reboot is just power off the router and turn it on after a minute.

my phone is not looking for wi-fi

If the WI-FI indicator on the router is on / blinking, then it is distributing a wireless network. But after a factory reset, this network is with the factory name. Perhaps you just do not notice it in the list of networks on the iPhone. Look at the factory name on the bottom of the router (SSID). If a password request appears when connecting, it is also indicated at the bottom of the router. Usually it is signed as PIN, Wireless Password.

Connect to TL-WR740N via Wi-Fi and try to open the settings in the browser at 192.168.1.1, or 192.168.0.1 (depending on the hardware version of the router). The address is also indicated on the sticker below.

In order for the Internet to work through a router, you need to configure it correctly. It is the Internet connection (in the WAN section). You need to choose the right type of connection and the required parameters. You need to check all this with the provider's support. If the router is not broken (hardware failure), then after correct configuration everything should work.
